It may be cold but clean the glass to allow as much light as possible in.
Remove all plant debris.
Clean the frame and staging with a greenhouse disinfectant, or hot soapy water to prevent diseases. If the greenhouse is to be empty over the winter leave this job till spring.
Open the vents (an automatic roof vent will do this) on a sunny day to encourage air circulation and to discouage bugs.
Insulate your greenhouse with bubblewrap. Do the vents separately so that they can still open.
Take root cuttings of perrenials with thick fleshy roots, oriental poppies and sea holly.
